Rough Mix

I was fortunate to be selected to take part in Magnetic North’s creative development programme Rough Mix held at Summerhall Edinburgh in 2015.

Offering a unique opportunity to explore one’s own ideas and those of others with the participation of supporting performers, I proposed looking at the body and movement in relationship to the architecture of Summerhall and the surrounding built environment. My particular interest was in everyday movement, not directed or choreographed but just drawing attention to the ways we negotiate and engage with space and how that makes evident the nature of the environment itself.

A number of videos were produced some of which were shown in the spaces in which they were filmed during the exhibition Underground.
